General Church Calendar

Important News:

On Pastor Nathan's last Sunday, June 16 (also Father's Day), we will hold a CELEBRATION AND FOND FAREWELL for him PRIOR TO THE 9:00 AM SERVICE IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL.  This will be held during the Pancake Breakfast hour beginning at 8:30 AM.

We hope congregants from all services can join us!  We have also been asked by all of everyone can show their love and appreciation for all Nathan has done.... for us personally, and as leader of this amazing church?  We thought it would be lovely for everyone to bring a card to help express your personal feelings and love for him.

We will have a basket or two ready at the celebration to accept your cards for him which he can then open with his family later at home and they can all absorb the tremendous outpouring of love, admiration and respect we all feel for him and all of them.  What a wonderful legacy he has left with us and we will always be grateful for his time here.

No need to RSVP....just come and enjoy this heartfelt celebration of a wonderful Pastor and Friend!!!  Thank you, Columbia Heights Church!

Beginning now, our life group service project has expanded to a larger partnership with NBC 4’s Stuff the Back Pack Campaign. We were reached out to by NBC 4 specifically to participate as they heard about our involvement in helping South-Western City Schools and the 400 backpacks we provided last year. More details to come, but we are excited to help more and more children in need in Franklin County and beyond. Thank you everyone for helping us outreach in so many amazing ways! Stay tuned…

On Sunday mornings we are in need of Nursery volunteers especially during the 10:30am service. Their goal is to be able to put everyone on a rotation schedule but currently they do not have enough volunteers to do so. Older youth (6th grade and up) are welcome to help out as well. We need all the help we can get to make this happen each Sunday. If you are interested please call Jessica at: 614-804-6248.

Believe it or not, we are approaching parade season again!  The Westland Area Business Association sponsors the Westland Area Parade and Jim and Kay Kaho have once again agreed to build a float for Columbia Heights.  If you are interested in being in the parade, either walking along side the float to pass out candy or ride in the float, please contact Suzie Smith-Rios to sign-up.  We are looking forward to a day of fun and outreach!  More information will be available very soon.
