Important News:

TALENT SHOWCASE: Our Annual Talent Showcase will be held this year on Friday, January 12, starting at 6:30pm.  Please share the gifts and talents God has granted you, either by performing or by submitting items for viewing.  This is an event for ALL AGES and we would love to have a variety of talents shown: painting, ceramics, sewing, wood-working, baking, singing, dancing, acting, playing instruments, telling jokes, etc.  This has been a great night of encouragement!  Please let us know how you will participate by contacting Laurie, lhurd@columbiaheightsumc.com.

THE GIVING TREE: The gifts are due by Wednesday, December 20.  Please bring wrapped gifts (with gift tag attached) to the church and either leave in the church office or place under the hat and glove tree in the main lobby.  Gifts will be processed on the 20th to be picked up by the families the next day.  If you have any questions, call or text Laurie, 614-425-4682.

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS NEEDS NETWORK: In an effort to connect people who have needs with those who can help, or to advertise free items someone else might be able to make of good use, we have created a new Facebook Group called "Columbia Heights Needs Network."  This is a closed group, restricted to those who are truly connected to our congregation either by attending our church, preschool, youth group, Scouts, or other auxiliary ministries.  You may search the group name and request to be added.  The more people represented in the group, the greater the likelihood needs can be met!  We hope this will be a great resource to serve our church family.  If you have questions, contact Laurie, lhurd@columbiaheightsumc.com or 614-425-4682.

ANTHONY THOMAS CANDY BARS: Our Columbia Heights Youth Group is currently selling chocolate bars as a fundraiser for a summer mission trip.  All profits will go into a collective "pot" to help provide transportation, offer scholarships, or subsidize costs for the whole group.  Bars are $1 each and make great stocking stuffers or mid-afternoon pick-me-ups!  Varieties available: almond, caramel, peanut butter and crispy.  See any of the teens to satisfy your sweet tooth or on Sunday mornings the youth group will have a table set up between services selling them.

AMAZON SMILE: Wrap-up your holiday shopping at smile.amazon.com/ch/31-4416401 and Amazon donates to Columbia Heights United Methodist Church.  CLICK HERE to learn more.

Our new email address is: Admin@columbiaheightsumc.com. This new email address is also on the back of the bulletin and is on our website.

ONLINE LIFE GROUP: Held online via the Columbia Heights United Methodist Church Facebook page at noon on Wednesdays, Pastor Nathan will hold a lunch-break teaching time.

PRAYER AND COMMUNION: Weekly services of Prayer, Healing, and Communion are offered on Fridays at 7:00 pm in the chapel.
