Columbia Heights United Methodist Church is holding an all-day prayer vigil for peace. Our world is filled with division and conflict. We know that our prayer connection with God is the best way to unite us in peace. We invite everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, to join us. Praying can be done at our church, at another house of worship or in your own home. Our goal is to have someone praying from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On Saturday January 6, 2024. The day will be divided into half hour segments. At 7:00 PM Jan. 6th there will be a candlelight ceremony at our church wrapping up the day with a final prayer and songs.
